This recording has an interesting perspective—the point of view as audient in a massive church using room mics. You really get a sense of the space. I do hope you will enjoy this musical document of the night. I was set up in the center in front of the alter near the pipe organ. During my improvisations there really was a sense of angels and devils and scripture at play in my head and in the music. Messiaen-like orchestral themes spilled out. Dissonance and resolution. The music was being pulled to and fro. It was a deep and emotional ride. When my set all came to the conclusion, with a few vocal songs , it was all about love.
